Dr. (Capt) Prabuddh Sen BDS, MDS, FOMS, FRFPS, FAM, Trained in CLCPS
Dr. (Capt) Prabuddh Sen is a highly qualified oral and maxillofacial surgeon and an ex military dental and facial surgeon. He graduated from Manipal College of Dental Sciences, Manipal, which is the best in the country. He went on to obtain his masters degree in oral and maxillofacial surgery from the prestigious Army College of Dental Sciences, Hyderabad. He worked as a senior registrar and obtained his fellowship from Apollo Hospitals. He has completed his training in cleft lip and palate surgery under the aegis of Smile Train USA which is a global charitable foundation.
He also has teaching experience as a Senior Lecturer and has trained both undergraduates and postgraduates in oral and maxillofacial surgery and related research works. He has published various papers in national and international journals and has also presented papers in national as well as international conferences, having won the coveted best paper awards twice. He was twice awarded scholarship for outstanding achievement in academics during his residency.
He then worked for the Indian Army after a very difficult selection process, as a Class 1, gazetted dental officer and maxillofacial surgeon. Here he was able to gain massive exposure to some of the most tough cases related to both dentistry as well as head and neck surgery. He was also posted as a medical officer for Covid 19 control in a Military Hospital in 2021 where he handled hundreds of patients daily.
He has trained in New Delhi and received his Fellowship in Aesthetic medicine (FAM) from University of Greifswald, Germany.
He has been a consultant to Columbia Asia Hospitals and VIMHANS hospitals in Delhi NCR.
